What Is a Glass Pet Door Installation?

Glass pet door installation is the process of cutting a custom opening into a toughened glass panel and fitting a purpose-built dog or cat door inside it. This can be done in:

It’s a great way to give your pet independence while keeping your home secure, sealed, and it looks a lot neater than a hanging flap or propped-open door.

Can You Put a Pet Door Into Glass?

Yes, but not into just any glass.

Standard glass panels can’t be cut on-site without the risk of shattering. Instead, we remove the existing glass panel, have a new toughened safety glass panel custom-made with a cutout, and install both the new panel and pet door together.

This ensures the safety, strength, and compliance of your door and gives your pet years of reliable use.
